Member FAQs

  1. Fees: $15 account opening fee, $7 annual fee, $2.50 processing fee for payouts.
  2. A consignment term is 90 days and the price reduces 15% every 30 days.
  3. The Consignee will remit 40% of the selling price to the Member for items valued at 100 Bermuda dollars or less, 50% for items value over 100 Bermuda dollars and 60% for items valued over 1000 Bermuda dollars.
  4. Members are required to price their own items, however, occasionally we will amend based on market conditions and demand.
  5. Please ensure that all consigned items are seasonal and in good condition, folded or hung and unwrinkled.
  6. Members agree to any promotions or discounts to help promote their items and compete with other retailers.
  7. Once you’re ready to cash-out, send us an email or give us a call. Payouts are made on the 10th of each month ONLY at the request of the member. Account credit can also be used as store credit anytime.
  8. If your items are not sold within the 90 days we donate them to charity. High value items over $75 (at the lowest ticket price) can be collected within 5 days of expiration.
  9. Orange Bay Company Members get 15% off original and second tier ticket prices during their birthday month.

  11. For furniture consignments, save time and transportation costs by sending us a picture ahead of time to info@orangebaycompany.com to see if we can accept it into inventory and schedule a delivery time.
