OUR STORY

Style with purpose, community with heart.

Since 2009, Orange Bay has given beautiful things a second life — connecting conscious shoppers with extraordinary finds and offering Bermuda a better way to shop, consign, and give back.

WHY WE EXIST

Shopping with intention never looked this good.

Orange Bay was built on a simple belief: beautiful things deserve a second life. We connect Bermuda’s conscious shoppers with extraordinary finds.

With three carefully curated departments — Designer, Off-The-Rack, and Home — we’re committed to quality above all.

Unsold items are donated to local Bermuda charities, ensuring every piece continues its sustainability journey and stays out of landfills.

  • Curated quality

Every piece is thoughtfully inspected before it reaches the floor. We only accept items that meet our standards for style, conditionand seasonality.

  • Sustainable by design

Secondhand shopping is one of the most powerful choices you can make. Our curated departments —Designer, Off-The-Rack, and Home —make conscious shopping effortless, beautiful, and intentional.

  • Community-rooted

Many unsold items are donated to local Bermuda charities —ensuring every piece continues its journey and supports the community that makes us possible.

OUR HISTORY

15 years of curated finds.

2009 | Orange Bay Company Begins

Inspired by Orange Bay, Jamaica, the company opened in Paget with sustainability at its heart and a curated collection of second-hand furniture and homewares.

What began as a Saturday-only shop quickly grew into a true consignment business.

2010–2011 | Community From the Beginning

Giving back became part of Orange Bay from the start.

Its first major initiative, A Good Night’s Sleep, raised more than $35,000 for the Sunshine League and established a lasting commitment to Bermuda’s community.

2011 | A New Home — And A New Direction

Orange Bay moved to Mill Creek Road, expanded its opening hours and introduced its first small clothing rack.

Customer response was immediate, setting fashion on course to become a major part of the business.

2012 | Fashion, Sustainability & Recognition

Orange Bay supported BHS’s inaugural ecoRunway competition, connecting fashion with reuse and sustainability.

That same year, it received its first Best of Bermuda Award.

2013 | Growing in Business — and Impact

As the business continued to grow, Orange Bay received a Product & Service Award.

By early 2014, its fundraising efforts had generated more than $70,000 for Bermuda charities.

2015 | Orange Bay Comes to Hamilton

The move to Magnolia Place on Victoria Street brought Orange Bay into a busier retail environment and introduced the brand to a much broader audience.

Fashion expanded rapidly alongside furniture and home accessories.

2017 | Going Bagless

Orange Bay took another step toward reducing waste by going bagless, encouraging customers to bring their own reusable bags or reuse and recycle shopping bags.

It was a natural extension of the sustainability principles on which Orange Bay was founded.

2019 | Becoming a Retail Organization

Orange Bay expanded its fashion, men’s, children’s and furniture departments while investing in professional consignment, accounting and customer account systems.

The goal: combine the personality of consignment with the transparency and standards of modern retail.

2020 | Resale Proves Its Relevance

As Bermuda reopened after COVID-19 restrictions, resale became more relevant than ever.

Orange Bay expanded its digital content while its website evolved into an online catalogue supporting the in-store treasure-hunt experience.

2020 | Looking Beyond Bermuda

The ORANGE BAY COMPANY U.S. trademark was registered, laying groundwork for future expansion beyond Bermuda.

The pandemic delayed those ambitions, but not the vision.

2023 | Award of Excellence

Orange Bay received the Best of Bermuda Award of Excellence for Clothing & Accessories, recognizing its curated resale experience and its contribution to sustainability, the local economy and Bermuda’s community.

2024 | Everything Comes Together

Orange Bay moved into Melbourne House, 44 Victoria Street, bringing designer fashion, clothing, jewelry and furnishings together under one roof once again.

2026 | Saying No to Fast Fashion

As concerns around textile waste and the environmental impact of disposable fashion continued to grow globally, including major action in France, Orange Bay made the decision to stop accepting fast-fashion brands for consignment.

2026 | 10,000+ Consignors — And The Next Chapter

More than 10,000 consignors are now part of the Orange Bay community.

With Designer Drops, estate jewelry and continued growth, the company enters its next chapter with the same question that has driven it from the beginning: What’s next?

The Orange Bay story is still being written.

ABOUT THE FOUNDER

A lifelong eye for hidden beauty.

Orange Bay began with Delight Morris’s lifelong love of finding beauty where others might not think to look. As a child in Bermuda, weekends spent riding on the back of her mother’s Vespa in search of house-sale treasures taught her that the most meaningful pieces carry character, history and a story.

Named after the Jamaican community where her husband was raised, Orange Bay reflects the values of resourcefulness, craftsmanship and giving beautiful things a second life. After a successful career in finance and project management, Delight founded the company in 2009. Today, Orange Bay is one of Bermuda’s most loved destinations for luxury consignment and one-of-a-kind discoveries.

GIVING BACK

Every purchase gives twice.

When items don’t sell, they don’t go to waste. Orange Bay donates unsold pieces to local Bermuda charities, shelters and community organizations that benefit most from quality goods.

These donations help extend the life of beautiful things and support the community that makes Orange Bay possible.

Come find us in Hamilton.

We're open Monday–Friday 10am–5pm and Saturday 10am–6pm.

Bring your items, shop the floor, or just say hello.
